Brief:
Fairwinds is an entity within the Charles Butt Foundation, including government staff, non-profit teams, and private personnel. This office space is a touchdown location for all these teams to work individually and if the project calls for it, to collaborate with one another. We were brought on to help them create a versatile space that offers flexibility for an ever-evolving organization. Major stakeholders include Charlie Cline- CFO of HEB and Jean Russell with the ever-growing CAST network. To alleviate the need for an architect TDC was crafty with circumnavigating thresholds that would require a building permit which would have added financial and logistical complications.
“We got really creative with staying off the city's radar and managing those thresholds, but still completely transformed the space."
How we came in clutch.
T.D.C. was brought in to design and furnish the space in a way that accommodated all of these groups. Our commercial interior design studio carefully designed the space to a modular layout to fit any need. Cubicle walls can be moved around to create meeting spaces for larger collaborations. Offices were furnished to create a work environment that works well for a variety of employees.
